Voltage Furniture – the name vividly describes the company, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, as it continues to offer unique, modern, high-end European furniture, lighting and accessories, forever sparking the interests of distinguished clientele throughout Cincinnati and the Tri-state.

Shannon Riley, a Voltage interior designer since 2004, enjoys helping clients find the perfect furniture designs to enhance their varying lifestyles or businesses.  One of her favorite recently-completed residential projects involved a long-time Indian Hill client whose spacious home is naturally nestled into a tremendous tree-topped hillside.

The house, originally designed by the renowned Cincinnati architect Hans Nuetzel, has undergone several interior modifications over the years, Riley explains. “We recently completed the bedroom and spectacular walk-in closet, but we started with the living room, sitting room, media room and dining room,” she recalls. “We used a very tailored mix of furniture pieces, and we put together a complete warm, inviting aesthetic theme throughout their home.”

Each Voltage project is a full collaborative effort between interior designer and client from concept to creation, resulting in just the right combination of form and function. And Voltage Furniture guarantees unparalleled execution, from brainstorming and initial space planning to perfecting solutions and installation.

Jeff and Julie Hinkel founded Voltage Furniture in 1989. Voltage’s great location affords vast first-and second-floor showrooms, perfect for displaying a stunning array of home furnishings and accessories. The building’s third, fourth and fifth floors house Renaissance Garden and Ornaments, The Appliance Loft, and Wellage and Schaff Framing, making The Voltage Lofts a complete design destination.
