Lauren Chesley and James Miller

The wedding of Lauren Chesley Cohen and James Allen Miller took place in Nantucket, Massachusetts, October 23, 2016. Lunch on the terrace of the Nantucket Hotel and Resort followed the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by 38 guests that included their immediate family members. Dr. Rabbi Gary Zola, executive director of the American Jewish Archives at Cincinnati Hebrew Union College, officiated.

This is the second marriage for both. Lauren is a native Cincinnatian, former Channel 5 news anchor, mother of four, blogger, LEAD Cincinnati contributor and longtime community volunteer and leader.

Jim is chairman, investment advisor and principal at Bartlett and Co. A native of Dayton, Ohio, he joined the company in 1977 after graduating from Harvard Business School. He is has widely recognized as a business and community leader and philanthropist who serves of the boards of Xavier University, the Contemporary Arts Center, American Jewish Committee and Playhouse in the Park.

Those in attendance included Lauren’s father, Stan Chesley, her children – Amanda Cohen, 26; Liza Cohen, 25; Lily Cohen, 21; and Will Cohen, 19; Jim's children – Dr. Katherine Miller, 32; and Casey Miller, 37, who served as best man. Also included in the wedding party were daughter-in-law Kate Miller, 34, and granddaughter Emma, 2.
