Cedar Village Senior Living is a community that seniors from all walks of life can be happy to call home.
As a full-service community providing seniors the ability to age in place, Cedar Village offers independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation programs, memory support, long-term care and skilled nursing.
“We’re thrilled that CarDon & Associates is helping us broaden our horizons,” said Michael Mobley, Administrator. “Thanks to their partnership, Cedar Village continues to thrive as a premier place for seniors to live.”
In terms of independent living, seniors can choose from studio, one-and two-bedroom apartments. And if they need daily assistance, they can request assisted living services such as wellness checks, medication administration, bathing supervision, activity reminders, transportation, laundry and more. At Cedar Village, residents have everything they need under one roof.
One of the best ways to comfort people and make them feel welcome is through food. Cedar Village not only offers delectable kosher meals, but it also provides a wide variety of wonderful non-kosher options to satisfy everyone’s palate.
In addition to an experienced group of skilled nursing professionals, the community also has a strong team of physical, occupational and speech therapists on staff as well as dedicated volunteers who provide companionship, activities and transportation. Cedar Village engages residents through art and music therapy classes, cooking courses, theater trips, opera outings, trivia tournaments and so much more.
Whether seniors need a short-term rehabilitation stay, post-acute care or outpatient therapy, they are in expert hands at Cedar Village, which is a preferred provider for several area health systems. When it comes to providing a smooth transition from hospital discharge to rehab and home, this team is highly trained.
As part of its robust rehabilitation program, Cedar Village offers state-of-the-art aquatic therapy in its three indoor heated pools, which are all easily accessible from the community’s main parking lot. Group fitness classes take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. in the large lap pool. These classes are free for residents and just $5 for non-residents. The two smaller pools are high-tech HydroWorx pools, which feature movable platforms, resistance jets and underwater cameras that allow the trained physical and occupational therapists to evaluate the residents’ movement and progress.
“CarDon is bringing its 40 years of experience in senior living to help Cedar Village keep building a continuum of care,” said Doug Shuck, Director of Operations and Corporate Development at CarDon. “We will continue to build upon this community’s rock-solid reputation for providing a warm, inviting environment for residents, families, patients and employees. We are honored to represent this exemplary community.”
