Amy Bartish + Tim Trautmann Wedding

Amy and Tim dated for five years before he popped the question while the couple was on a romantic birthday weekend getaway. The couple had just arrived at their cabin in Gatlinburg where they planned to celebrate Amy’s birthday when Tim got down on one knee.

“He was really insistent that we go out on the balcony as soon as we arrived at the cabin to look at the view, which was kind of funny because it was pitch black when we got there,” says Amy. “I realized what he was doing right before he proposed.”

Amy knew she wanted her wedding day to reflect her laid-back style and personality. The Richwood Plantation provided the perfect backdrop for that vision.

“We fell in love with the Richmond Plantation and planned everything around it,” says Amy. “Our wedding was whimsical, but elegant at the same time.”

She found her dream dress at Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique. Her beaded Martina Liana gown provided additional inspiration. Amy’s bridesmaids wore mismatched flowy dresses in neutral shades.

Amy and Tim’s wedding weekend was better than they could have ever imagined. Prince of Peace – St. Patrick’s provided an intimate ceremony.

“The most memorable part of the night was when Tim sang to me,” Amy says. “When we first got engaged, I told him that he should play a song at our wedding, because he’s really talented and it would be neat for everyone to see. He dismissed it and I never thought about it again.

“We were on the dance floor and all of the sudden the band announced that Tim was going to sing. He sang Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud.’ I was completely shocked and he sounded amazing!”
