The Cincinnati Flower Show has something for everyone. In part- nership with the Cincinnati USA Sister City Association, the five-day event will feature unique floral displays, floral design demonstrations, celebrity lectures, international fare, culinary events and live enter- tainment. This year’s event will take place April 13-17 at Yeatman’s Cove on the downtown riverfront.
“This year’s theme is International Adventure and the reason ... is we’re celebrating Cincinnati’s nine sister cities. So all nine sister cities will be represented by landscapers, gardeners and by other designers, both floral and interior,” says J.W. Fleckenstein, board member of the Cincinnati Horticulture Society, director of the Cincinnati Flower Show and designer at Interiors by Kurtinitis.
A bridal and fashion show have been added, which will take place on the morning of Saturday, April 16. The fine foods show, which was added for the first time last year, will also return. It will take place throughout the event and will represent more than 30 companies.
From garden lovers to floral enthusiasts, young families, foodies, social seekers and serious shoppers, the Cincinnati Flower Show truly has something for everyone to enjoy.
“It will be an exciting show – very colorful with a lot of activities taking place everyday,” says Fleckenstein.
